Las Ramblas
Barcelona's "Las Ramblas" are a compilation of several short streets (such as Rambla de Canaletes and Rambla de Mar) that comprise a kilometer long pedestrian mall of shops, stalls, and street performers. This is the perfect place to practice the language and barter with the local vendors. Everyone can enjoy the many characters of this wide, tree-lined median as they stroll "the only street in the world which I wish would never end," according to poet Federico Garcia Lorca.
